GRACE LUNCHEON
‘To achieve a culture of caring, the Foundation has developed three key social action tools, namely: A GRACE LUNCHEOB to foster caring in the community through its leaders; CARING NEIGHBOR ROUNDTABLE to draw neighbors together, PROJECT CARING NEIGHBOR for schools to educate the next generation about the caring upon which our prosperity rests. These three strategies when generally implemented will elevate a level of a culture of caring that will transform planet earth.
Grace Luncheon’ refers to a monthly, freely offered luncheon which is
intended as an opportunity for sharing and providing mutual support among
community leaders in promoting a culture of caring.
Organizational Specifics:
‘Grace’ means ‘free’ in that the luncheon is a gracious offering that
invites a grateful response – a social dynamic that is the basis on
which a culture of caring is built;
Any individual or group whether civic, religious or private is invited to
host a luncheon. Twelve hosts are needed to make a Grace Luncheon
program viable;
‘Leaders’ includes those who are in a position to promote a culture of
caring;
The luncheon should take place on a designated day and time each
month, e.g. the third Tuesday of each month at 1:00 pm;
The CNF will sponsor the luncheon by way of covering expenses
related to promotion and communication;
The coordinator should attend each luncheon to welcome the quests
and thank the host of the luncheon; and
There will be no agenda except the luncheon itself because the
gathering is intended for leaders, who promote caring to meet, get to
know each other and germinate caring ideas or initiatives beyond the
lunch gathering.
